Daughter Thai Kitchen Oakland

Dubbed as the Best Thai Restaurant in the Bay, and Daughter Thai is indeed living up to its name. Daughter Thai is located in the neighborhood of Montclair in Oakland with tons of parking near by.

When you first enter into Daughter Thai, you will be amazed by all the beautiful decor and the friendly staff in their bright uniforms. The staff at Daughter Thai is so friendly and accommodating. If you plan to come during prime dining hours, I suggest you make a reservation as this place gets buys.

Now onto the food :) The entrees are big, but I would recommend getting some of their appetizers to start and keep it light. The chicken wings are nice and crisp and has a fantastic chilli plum sauce. The must try dish as far as appetizers would be the Daughter Thai Taco. The dish comes with two tacos on a roti shell and inside has bite-size chicken pieces in a sweet  and tangy sauce.

When it comes to the entrees below are the dishes I recommend: 

• Hat Yai Fried Chicken- This dish is hands down my favorite. You get curry, fried chicken, rice and roti. The dish is very filling and you're able to get a taste of everything. The curry is very flavorful and is the perfect balance between spicy and sweet.
   
• Pad Kee Mow- If you are in for noodles get this dish! This entree is a spicy flat noodle dish and you are able to choice your meat of choice. You are also able to make this dish as spicy as your heart desires. 
   
• Thai Fried Rice is a great simple dish loaded with flavors. If you are not sure what to get this dish is for you and will not let you down.

Daughter Thai has an offering of great drinks and cocktails for you to choose. If you are not in the mood for an alcoholic beverage the classic Thai Tea is a great choice and is topped with an ice snowball.

If you are looking for a great restaurant to try give Daughter Thai a try and you will not be disappointed.
